The tourism industry is the star industry of the 21st century. The main educational goals of the Department of Tourism are strengthening students’ basic and professional knowledge, modeling learning organization, cooperating with industries enthusiastically and enhancing international competitiveness. Based on the goals, the curriculum includes two modules: hotels and home-stays, and travel and tourism. “Localization and globalization” and "course-certificate integration” are two important concepts. International tourism experts can be cultivated by utilizing the unique and various natural landscapes and cultural resources of the Southern Taiwan. |
